Ohhhhhh!

I've came down with one "dooo-zey" of a head cold. I feel like someone steam rolled me a few dozen times. I'm going to spend the day in bed. Hopefully I will feel better on New Year's Eve. If anyone has a recipe to get rid of it fast, please pass it along.

BORING!!!!!!!!

I spent the last 8 hours watching electricians work on tubing for a parking lot!!! I was without a book or my portable DVD player! This was AWFUL! I hope that I never do it again! Or at least have more things to do. Plus, I think that I'm coming down with a head cold (Thanks, Jay!) and I arrived home to an empty home and no supper cooking!!

We (ex-Trancona alumni) were planning a small get-together, but it seems that only 2 could meet so it's canceled until the next time one of them returns from Cyprus Island. Maybe with any luck it might be in the summer when people have holidays.

Boxing Day

Boxing Day - Wow, what a meal at Newtown! We ate and ate and ate! ... And for some reason the price was cheaper than last year, fancy that! We had the whole family there, including Jason and Shelley, Scott, Mom and Dad, Leon, Janey, Jared, Sarah and little (well, not so little) Nolan. He's a cutie! For 9 months old he was built solid and was he good! Truly, a Goertzen in the making here! It was good seeing everyone in good spirits! With dad getting around better and his health seems to be improving somewhat, it made this Christmas time very enjoyable.

Xmas 2007

What can I say about this Christmas? It was terrific! We brought Jason home (it was a birthday gift to him). We had a turkey and all the fixings Christmas Day. Both sets of parents, Jason and his fiancé, Shelley, Scott, and my sister, Roxene all sat down and devoured most of it! We wasted the day away playing games. It was great!
